Summer school "Basics on Quantum Control"

This school is organized by Béatrice Chatel (LCAR-IRSAMC, France) and Moshe Shapiro (University of British Columbia, Canada- Weizmann institute, Israel). It will present fundamental principles on coherent excitation, as well as elements of atomic physics and light-matter interaction and basic modern concepts of femtosecond laser pulse generation and characterization, usually not taught in regular courses.

This school is funded by the european network FASTQUAST (FASTQUAST) (to be confirmed) and is open to any young scientists (undergraduate, graduate students, post-doctoral students or new comers to the field).
The teaching will be further enhanced by the presence of key researchers from the network partner groups.
Poster sessions will be organized such that every participants could show his/her own results/projects.
